Sean’s Story

Sean Green is the founder and operator of Sean’s Dance Factory in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Sean has become a pivotal role model, saturating his community with rich Hip Hop culture. Sean’s unique sense of musicality and teaching style allows dancers to dissect rhythms, manipulate beats and groove no matter the selection of music. On a daily basis, Sean fosters a positive, nurturing environment for all dancers to develop self confidence, enhance their skills, and grow into their own unique style of dance. His enthusiasm for life is contagious and the motivation he brings to his classes is something quite rare. His style of teaching has gained the attention of studios across the globe, where he has held workshops and master classes in New York, Canada, Thailand, France, Germany, London, and even Australia.

Throughout his career, Sean has focused primarily on Hip Hop and Funk styles, training under the Hip Hop community’s most renown icons such as Justin Timberlake’s choreographer, Mary Kudelka, Dave Scott, Brian Puspos, Lando Wilkens, Ellen Kim, Brian Green, Mr. Wiggles, Jazzy J (Soul Fire), Dexter Carr and Luam Keflezgy. He has worked with many talented artists such as Lil Wayne, Nelly, 21 Savage, Silento, Ja Rule, Cee-Lo Green, Chris Brown, and Jay Smoove. He worked with Prince for his Super Bowl halftime show as well as Super Bowl XXIX’s halftime show. Other major sporting events that had Sean’s signature moves include routines for the Florida State Seminole Cheerleaders, the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, as well as Melbourne’s United Dance and Cheerleaders of Australia.

He has worked with many talented artists, including Prince for his Super Bowl halftime show, Lil Wayne, Nelly, 21 Savage, Silento, Ja Rule, Cee-Lo Green, Chris Brown, and Jay Smoove. He has choreographed major sporting events such as Super Bowl XXIX, routines for the Florida State Seminole Cheerleaders, the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, as well as Melbourne’s United Dance and Cheerleaders of Australia.

As a mentor and teacher for seven years, Sean worked with Chris Grant who was selected to tour with Michael Jackson on his “This is It” tour. Chris Grant is currently a lead choreographer for Beyonce. Sean is also proud of another protégé, the talented Michael Pesante, who studied at Sean’s West Palm Beach studio and is now touring with Rihanna. Six children who were enrolled in classes were selected to join Justin Bieber on his World Purpose Tour. The fact that all six children came from just one dance studio is a testament to the quality of dance and professionalism instilled in his students.

Sean has appeared in film and television including on MTV, where Sean was selected as a national contest winner in Cinnaburt’s live dance competition. He has also appeared on the networks BET, VH1 and most recently, Sean and his team went to New York City to compete in the World of Dance Competition. The routine showcased his diverse crew and caught the attention of many when they won 1st place and Best Theme with Sean’s Tribute to Michael Jackson.
